Okay, I have mixed feeling about this one. On one hand I'm realllllly proud of the lineart and the pose and that I managed to do a decent job on these two with it being my first time drawing them. But on the other hand I think the coloring is really shoddy :depressed:
Anyone who watches me has probably noticed that I've become a little obsessed with Rise of the Guardians as of late...and shipping Jack Frost with Rapunzel ^^; I really love these two together. So much that I've started writing a story about them over on fanfiction.net: [link] My boyfriend thinks I've completely lost it.
This drawing really doesn't have too much of a point to it besides practice. I just wanted to get a feel for these two as I'll be drawing them more in the future. And yes, I know that the colors of Punz' dress are a bit off. Right now all I've got to work with as far as colors go is a box of 50 Crayolas, so I'm making do with what I have. I really need to get my other pencils out of the storage unit ><

The anatomical proportions of Jack Frost & Punz: You know how to layout and arrange human body

The Line with management is better than the most powerfull fast and precise CNC machine!



Jack Frost:


I Like the hoodie coloring; The layout of the Ice Frost;
The Hands!; The Eyes; His Mouth Expression;
His Staff Design;


Technique:

The fact you use colors I could determine! I could see a very high proficience in your work.

I know you fell in love with Rise of the Guardians but where did this couple come from? XD

Love how you drew Rapunzel though. I think you really captured her sweet, innocent aura.

Good question, actually xD I think what happened is that I was browsing on tumblr and a picture of them randomly showed up, and I said "oh hey that's kinda cute". So I looked up more pictures. And fanfics. And videos... ^^;
These two are just super compatible as a couple xD mainly because they have a lot in common and the compliment each other really well. You need to watch RotG. It'll make more sense if you watch it.
And thank you! I'm really happy with how she came out.

I see...both you and Bianca find stuff on tumblr and from what I hear about that place, it it both awesome and evil at the same time XD
Its funny how I wasn't planning on seeing Rise of the Guardians but now that you're so into it, I'll give it a chance :)
I want to get back to you on whether Rapunzel and Jack are compatible or not.

OH GOD NEVER GET ONE xD it will swallow what little freetime you probably have what with school and such. It's a great site, though. Especially for an artist. And you can post literally ANYTHING on there. You have no many times I've been casually scrolling and suddenly penis everywhere :giggle:
Yes, definitely watch it. It's amazing. Best Dreamworks movie since How To Train Your Dragon (I kind of like RotG more, though). It's a shame that Dreamworks actually had to lay people off becuae of how poorly it did in theatres. They were planning on it being the first of a series, but we might not even get a sequel >< which sucks balls. Hopefully the DVD release brings in enough money for them to not completely scrap it. There's just so much potential since it's based off of a book series (a book series written by the same guy who wrote Rollie Pollie Ollie)

Yeah, Bianca said not to get a tumblr either. My cousin used to have one and she was crazy into it too. It looks really cool though. And yeah, a few times when I've seen her on it, sexual things have popped up and I was like, there's no censoring settings or something???
I don't think it's in the theaters anymore so I'll have to wait for the DVD. Probably wont come out until May or April.
You know which movie I ADORED??? Warm Bodies :heart:
I read the book first (which I WHOLEHEARTEDLY recommend) and even though, yes, they took out some stuff I would have liked seeing, the movie was great. I tried not to compare the two that much and its just better that way. The main character R, the zombie, is freakin cute and sweet and he breaks your heart and makes you laugh and jeez! Super well written.
Sorry for babbling there ^^; Just had to get that out!
